INSU-6227 - USA (Edinburg, Texas) - Insurance Benefit Consultant Service - Deadline August 4,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance benefit consultant service to the government authority located in Edinburg, TX.– Provide Insurance Benefit Consultant to review group medical, group ancillary, and group voluntary RFPs to ensure the City is offering the most competitive employee benefit packages while ensuring regulatory compliance– Consultant will act as an advisor for fully funded medical plans providing analysis and quarterly reporting, or a financial advisor for self–insured plans– Contingent on health plan, the consultant will provide necessary assistance such as vendor sourcing for third party administrators, pharmacy benefits, and stop loss carriers– Review, as needed, the existing group medical, group ancillary, and group voluntary plan designs for competitiveness, appropriateness and overall acceptance by plan participants– Serve and assist the City in negotiating benefits provider contract(s) resulting from the review and recommendations noted above including the use of available provider networks. – Provide the City underwriting data and evaluation services to support contract modifications such as benefit differentials and funding options.– Review, as needed, the existing group medical, group ancillary, and group voluntary plan designs for competitiveness, appropriateness and overall acceptance by plan participants– Review new or proposed administrative services provided by outside vendor(s) to determine the most effective and efficient service delivery strategies– Review utilization rates and evaluate each on the City's best option as it relates to fully–funded and self–insured plans.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 24, 2026
