(1) Vendor needs to provide literacy training, professional development and support services to the government authority located in Washington, DC.– Provide evidence–based leadership coaching and explicit professional development to leaders.– Provide planning and training support to the literacy leadership team as they develop a literacy plan; ensure effective implementation of the literacy plan over the course.– Provide comprehensive literacy expertise and support, including science of reading and structured literacy expertise, training, professional development, and coaching support, family engagement and training expertise, and long–term planning and school improvement support.– Provide high–quality, on–going, job–embedded professional development for teachers and other specialists.– Provide training directly to families, provide coaching to leaders and teachers around family engagement issues.– Provide coaching support to family engagement specialist and literacy leadership team on implementation of effective family engagement strategies.(2) The contract period will be for four years.
