INSU-6472 - USA (Grand Rapids, Michigan) - Insurance Agent of Record Service - Deadline October 5,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance agent of record service to the government authority located in Grand Rapids, MI. – Agent of Record will serve as the City's insurance advisor and broker for new or renewed liability and property insurance programs developed by the City of Grand Rapids following the current renewal process.– These programs may include, but are not limited to, property insurance, property terrorism insurance, special event liability, excess workers' compensation, liquor liability, crime, and pollution liability.– The City may also request assistance with third–party administration (TPA) services, general liability insurance, and other forms of insurances relevant to municipal functions.– Agent of Record will work collaboratively with the City of Grand Rapids to evaluate, review, and develop alternative risk–financing strategies.– These alternatives will be evaluated against the City's existing insurance and risk–financing programs to identify cost–effective and sustainable solutions, including options for full self–insurance, self–insured retentions, commercial insurance, or a combination of these approaches.• Professional and Technical Insurance Capabilities– Provide a complete review annually of all property and liability insurance policies to assure that the policy language, coverages and exclusions are in the best interest of the city, and that no coverage gaps exist.• Risk Management Consulting Capabilities– Provide applicable training services and educational materials to City staff on insurance and risk management topics as needed.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 18, 2026.
