Description
Scope of Services needed for a total of 20 Tampa Police Canine dogs. Non-Emergency and Emergency Office Visits & Physical Examinations, Non-Emergency and Emergency Diagnostics, Treatments, Procedures, Hospitalizations. Imaging Services / Diagnostic Check of new canines including hips, chest/elbow radiographs, bloodwork, examinations. Telephone and Telemedicine Consults. Annual/Semi-Annual Examination, Vaccinations, Heartworm, Intestinal Parasite Tests. Medications and Preventatives. Microchipping. General and Local Anesthesia. Minor and Major Surgery including orthopedics. Physical Rehabilitation and Laser Dental Services. Euthanasia. Priority Level of Client Service. Express Check In and Express Check Out. The ability to board all 20 of the Police Canines in an extreme case or emergency at the primary facility or associated location. ADDITIONAL SERVICES : The ability to provide covered boarding for all 20 of the Tampa Police Canines in an extreme case or emergency at the primary facility or associated location with indoor/outdoor runs. Provide a minimum of three locations within Hillsborough County to service the officers who live and work in different areas. Provide priority service to Tampa Police Department and special accommodations away from other customers and pets due to our dogs’ personalities. The K9 Supervisor and handler are both to be contacted immediately with any issue concerning a TPD Canine. AWARDEE REQUIREMENTS: Awardee shall have been in business for a minimum of five years. Awardee shall have a minimum of three locations within Hillsborough County. Awardee shall have a minimum of three licensed veterinarians on staff. Awardee shall provide a detailed, monthly invoice for each canine that obtained services to the Canine Unit Supervisor to be reconciled and paid on a monthly basis. Awardee shall be accredited with American Animal Hospital Association. Awardee shall have X-Ray / Imaging Services available. Awardee shall have available extended business hours and access for handlers to include weekends. Awardee shall have 24/7 availability/access for emergencies. Awardee locations shall be in Hillsborough County or within 25 miles from TPD headquarters at 411 N. Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33602.
