Description

The 2024 Black Lake Preserve timber sale is a per ton harvest of 135 acres comprised of marked Slash, Longleaf and Loblolly pines. All trees available for harvest are marked with a blue dot at eye level or higher and at the stump. In addition, all water and laurel oaks (some of which are not marked; those that are marked are marked with a blue dot at eye level or higher, and at the stump) are also available for harvest. The intent of this harvest is to restore natural communities within this conservation area.
