(1) Vendor needs to provide janitorial services to the government authority located in Weather, VA. • Floor maintenance:– All carpeted areas shall be vacuumed thoroughly.– All non–carpeted areas shall be swept and remove obvious surface dirt from traffic areas, exposed areas, and from under furniture.– All lavatories and janitorial closets shall be swept and damp mopped with an antibacterial and detergent solution.• Offices, conference rooms, storage rooms, entry ways, corridors to include common areas and utility closets:– Wastepaper baskets containing any trash shall be emptied and liner replaced Recycling processes shall be observed and all trash removed to the proper dumpster.– Clean deep sink, mops, buckets and floors in utility closets at the end of each work day.  – All glass in doors, partitions, pictures, and bookcases shall be wiped–down/cleaned with glass cleaner.• Kitchen/snack preparation areas and lunch rooms:– Tables and chairs shall be arranged and clean.– Trash receptacles shall be emptied after 2:00 p.m. and their plastic liners replaced.– Appliances (i.e. microwaves, stoves, etc.) shall be wiped with a damp cloth and window cleaner.• Stairwells and elevator:– Areas shall be swept and debris removed.– Spills and stains shall be spot cleaned with a damp mop or cloth.• Toilet rooms, with or without shower stalls:– The floors in toilet rooms (with or without shower stalls) shall be swept, wet mopped, and scrubbed with a germicidal disinfectant (i.e., ammonia, pine oil, etc.), and rinsed with clean water.– The water closets, seats, and urinals shall be washed and sanitized.• Outside entrances, foyer, and smoking areas:– Entrance sidewalks, adjacent areas, and the entrance carpet shall be swept clean of debris and all litter shall be properly removed and disposed of.– Vacuum carpets in foyer and front hallway.(2) This bid is set–aside for total small business.
