(1) Vendor needs to provide strategic communications, public relations and community engagement consulting services.– Support may include public information, stakeholder education, community outreach, and strategic communications, programs, capital improvements, service priorities, long–term operational and capital needs, and potential future funding initiatives.– Services may also include assessing community awareness and sentiment, developing clear and accessible informational messaging, and advising the park district on effective strategies for communicating complex service, infrastructure, and funding considerations to the public.– Develop and refine District–wide messaging and communications frameworks.– Provide guidance on communication best practices for public agencies.– Identify audience segmentation and key demographics for outreach.– Develop a brand positioning strategy.– Coordinate messaging across all public touchpoints, including digital channels.– Conduct a comprehensive review of the park district website including content, navigation, accessibility, user experience (UX), and ADA compliance– Consultant will support the in delivering consistent, factual, and engaging public–information messaging across social platforms, including but not limited to:• Facebook• Instagram• X / Twitter• YouTube• Nextdoor• LinkedIn– Public Information & Educational Materials– Stakeholder Outreach & Community Engagement– Media Relations & Public Relations Support– Implementation & Advisory Support(2) A non–mandatory bidder’s meeting will be held on September 16, 2026.
