2022-1401 COUNTY SERVICE AREA 14 SURFACE REINSTATEMENT

Laying down a thin hot-mix asphalt (HMA) layer over an existing pavement in areas of pavement that exhibit surface-related distress/distortion to improve road roughness and road durability. Place hot mix asphalt as directed by the engineer, a thin layer of HMA is applied to the existing swept clean road surface with a coat of spray binder (emulsion) and compacted with an asphalt roller 48” in width minimum. The work embraced shall be done in accordance with the 2018 Standard Plans and Specifications (incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof), the latest Revised Standard Specifications of the California Department of Transportation (incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof), the County of Yuba Improvement Standards plans dated August 2008 (incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof), and the Yuba County Standard Plans dated June 2009 (incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof).
