EXTRA-74886 - USA (Morrow, Oregon) - Community Wildfire Protection Plan Services - Deadline August 27,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide community wildfire protection plan services to the government authority located in Morrow, OR.• The selected consultant will lead the planning process, coordinate with stakeholders and the public, evaluate wildfire risks, establish mitigation priorities, and prepare a final plan that meets applicable state and federal requirements.• Review the county's existing, hazard–planning documents, available GIS data, and related plans.• Coordinate with county staff, cities, fire districts, the department of forestry, federal agencies, utilities, landowners, and other stakeholders.• Conduct steering committee meetings, stakeholder interviews, and appropriate public–engagement activities.• Evaluate wildfire risks, vulnerable populations, critical facilities, infrastructure, and wildland–urban interface areas using available information and necessary analysis.• Develop a prioritized list of wildfire–mitigation and hazardous–fuels projects.• Recommend actions to reduce structural ignitability and improve community preparedness.• Identify potential federal, state, and other funding sources, eligible activities, match requirements, documentation needs, and significant grant–compliance considerations.• Prepare an administrative draft, public–review draft, and final in searchable PDF and editable Word formats, including editable project lists and materials produced for the work.• Assist the county with review, approval, and adoption of the final plan, including required coordination with local government, fire, and state forestry representatives.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 20, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
