Vendor needs to provide structural engineering investigation and assessment services to the government authority located in Blue Springs, MO.• Identification and evaluation of load–bearing walls and structural framing systems.• Determination of structural layout and load paths throughout the buildings.• Assessment of concealed conditions behind walls and ceilings.• Evaluation of construction materials and their current condition.• Investigation of building façade conditions concealed by existing metal siding systems and the implication of removal of facade.• Assessment of exterior brick masonry located behind metal siding, including condition, structural integrity, and suitability for restoration or continued use.• Provide professional opinion regarding the feasibility of removing the existing metal siding and restoring the original masonry façade, including anticipated structural concerns and recommended further investigation.• Identification of structural deficiencies, deterioration, damage, settlement, movement, or other conditions affecting building reuse.• Documentation of findings necessary to support future remodelling, rehabilitation, occupancy, and adaptive reuse planning.• Evaluate the feasibility of creating new openings, corridors, passages, doors, storefront openings, and connections between interior and exterior spaces, including identification of structural modifications required to support such improvements.
