Alachua County Library District E-Rate Branch Routers

The ALACHUA COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT is seeking proposals for Peplink Balance SDX routers (or equivalent) to upgrade the network infrastructure at 13 sites for its E-rate FY2025 application. The E-Rate contract term is July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 . Depending on when the funding is awarded, a contract extension may be necessary to complete the full scope of work at each site. The contract will be for hardware and associated licensing only. No installation services are required beyond manufacture support. 4-year manufacture support licensing is preferred. The Alachua County Library District consists of a Headquarters and 12 Branch locations connected via a 10GB fiber WAN provided by GRUcom. The network is a traditional hub and spoke network configuration with the Headquarters Library as the hub site. The Library uses Meraki switches. We have an option for both SFP+ or ethernet handoff from GRUcom, however the preference is SFP+. The LAN side handoff will be SFP+ into a Meraki switch.
