(1) Vendor needs to provide farmers’ market services to the government authority located in Hartford, CT.– Farmers’ markets are an example of enhanced services in state parks.– Including access to fresh, local, and often more affordable produce.– Also support local economies, promote sustainability, and foster community engagement by providing a social gathering place.– Enhanced service that could attract more people to the outdoors, promote grown products and made items and expand tourism destination at additional state parks.– Keeps vendors aware of market policies, activities and promotions, serves as a liaison between the market and other businesses and organizations.– Develop and maintain a consumer information booth at the farmers’ market.– Market manager shall supervise the operation of sales of food and beverage goods, including the acquisition, storage, preparation, inspection, and maintenance along with customer relations, sales and general operations.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
