LEGAL-18568 - USA (Medford Lakes, New Jersey) - Labor Attorney Service - Deadline November 19,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide labor attorney service to the government authority located in Medford Lakes, NJ.A. Represent the Borough in legal matters pertaining to labor and employment and shall advise and assist the Borough Council, the Borough Manager and the Departments as required in the administration of Borough Government.B. Attend meetings of the Borough Council as directed by the Borough Manager or the majority of the members of the Council, and give opinions and rulings on questions of law which may arise at the Council meetings at the request of a majority of the members of the Borough Council or the Borough Manager.C. Prepare or approve all legal instruments relating to the business of the Borough Labor Attorney when requested to do so.D. Represent the Borough in any litigation, and conduct trials, appeals and other proceedings affecting the interest of the Borough for matters pertaining to labor and employment as he may in his discretion determine to be necessary or desirable, subject to the approval of the Council.E. Demonstrate a proven record of cases tried before the Public Employee Relations Commission, the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law, Arbitration cases before both Interest Arbitration and Grievance Arbitrators.F. Must demonstrate a proven record in the Trial and the Appellate Divisions of Superior Court.G. Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in labor relations.H. Must demonstrate a proven record of representation of management in collective bargaining.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
