(1) Vendor needs to provide liquidation services for a large retail space to the government authority located in Norfolk, VA.– Food service and restaurant equipment— commercial kitchen equipment, smallwares, refrigeration, food court assets– Retail operations and fixtures — gondola systems, display cases, cash wraps, mannequins, millwork– Entertainment and AV assets — theater seating, projection equipment, sound systems, lighting, arcade assets– Commercial equipment — office furniture, signage, IT infrastructure, management office assets, security gates– Contracting and salvage options — removed infrastructure assets, mechanical equipment, lighting systems, water fountains, HVAC equipment– Vertical transportation – removal and salvage of escalators and elevators throughout the retail space– Artwork and installations – Artwork, fountains, movable murals, and statues throughout the venue– Marketing and AdvertisementThe Contractor shall have a marketing database of no less than 10,000 individual subscribers, independent of networks or associations. Advertisements under this solicitation shall be listed on a minimum of four (4) auction marketing websites for each auction, not including the Contractor’s or City websites.a. Screening bidders to ensure credit/ability to pay;b. Banning non–paying bidders;c. Running detailed reports prior to auction with all names and contact information for the registered bidders of that auction– Online and Onsite Auction Management ServicesThe Contractor shall provide a secure online bidding platform where they will register, screen, and verify bidders(2) A non–mandatory pre–proposal meeting will be held on August 28, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than September 2, 2026.
