RFP 25-120 Employee Benefits and Insurance Brokerage Services

Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Proposal for Project Title . Citrus County, Florida is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents to assist the County with obtaining, evaluating, recommending and securing insurance coverages to include health, dental, life, long-term disability, vision and any other applicable insurance coverages for the County employee benefits program. The Successful Respondent will be responsible for negotiating rates with insurance carriers, making recommendations for new products and/or recommendations on how to enhance current products. They are responsible for analyzing our usage, claims and experience. The Successful Respondent will monitor and advise the County on insurance laws, IRS benefits and regulations, Department of Labor Wellness rules; they also prepare and submit our annual reports required by the State. The Successful Respondent will also provide hands on assistance to employees and their medical claims, they will educate employees on products and plan usage as well as provide support for wellness fairs, and they will provide us with a software that communicates with the carriers directly for employee enrollments, terminations, qualifying events etc.
