Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Goods (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN Name of Project: STRENGTHENING THE STATISTICAL SYSTEM OF UZBEKISTAN Contract Title: Procurement of Desktop computers (work stations) Credit No.: 7038-UZ RFB Reference No.: SSS/RFB/11 The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening the Statistical System of Uzbekistan Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Desktop computers (work stations). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit. The Project Management Unit (PMU) of Strengthening the Statistical System of Uzbekistan Project under the Statistics Committee now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Desktop computers (work stations) to be supplied within a period of five months after contract signing. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the PMU of Strengthening the Statistical System of Uzbekistan Project, Mr Erkin Ziyaev – Project Manager, sssup.pmu@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours 10:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below . The bidding document in English may be received by E-mail by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below: sssup.pmu@gmail.com. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the address below no later than 16:00 Tashkent time on 05 October 2026. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below: Tashkent City, Olmachi street 42 B, Institute for Staff Advanced Training and Statistical Research, 3rd floor, room #310, at 16:00 Tashkent time on 05 October 2026. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 20 000 US Dollars . Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
