(1) Vendor needs to provide independent audit services to the government authority located in Chincoteague, VA. • Perform financial and compliance audits for the fiscal years ended June 30, 2024, June 30, 2025, and June 30, 2026.• Audit the town's governmental activities, business–type activities, each major fund, and aggregate remaining fund information for each fiscal year, as applicable, and express the opinions required under generally accepted auditing standards• Evaluate the presentation of the financial statements in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the state, including applicable governmental accounting standards board pronouncements. • Perform procedures required by the auditor of public accounts' specifications applicable to each fiscal year, including procedures relating to constitutional, statutory, regulatory, grant, debt, budgetary, and other compliance matters applicable to the town• Review the status of prior findings and recommendations for each succeeding fiscal year and report whether corrective action has been completed, remains in progress, or requires additional attention
