TRANSLATION-8434 - USA (California) - American Sign Language and Video Remote Interpreting Services - Deadline November 30,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide american sign language (ASL) and video remote interpreting services (VRI) through an approved VRI platform for the speech/hearing impaired or deaf, including but not limited to forincarcerated/supervised persons, current/potential staff, contractors/vendors, customers, or anyperson(s) as necessary to meet operational needs.– All interpretation and translation services identified herein shall be available twenty–four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.– Interpreters assigned by the Contractor shall be qualified or certified in interpreting from spoken English to ASL (interpretation) and from ASL to spoken English (translation). Interpreter services include but shall not be limited to classroom/educational settings, medical consultations, legal hearings, and various interview processes.– Interpreters/translators providing services during non–business hours will be considered a separate shift and the Contractor shall provide relief interpreters to work that shift.
