Vendor needs to provide vehicle radar detection system to the government authority located in Lexington, Kentucky. – The radar detection system shall be comprised of three major hardware components: a radar sensor, a JBox, and the radar hub. An optional wired input/output card shall be available for certain cabinet types.– The radar detection system shall include a radar sensor that offers the following:• Management Software– Management software shall be a Windows–based application.– The management software should allow for a pre–installation setup of an Intersection.– The management software shall allow the user to download a satellite Image for Intersection setup.– The software shall allow the user to program up to 10 different conditional outputs per detection zone.– The software shall allow the user to configure detection zones based off of classification, ETA, speed, and presence.– The software shall allow the user to program up to 120 outputs.• Sensor– The sensor shall be a forward fire FMCW MIMO sensor.– The sensor shall operate between 24.05 to 24.25 GHz.– The sensor dimensions shall be 12.126“ X 5.37“ X 2.81“.– The sensor shall have a field of view of 110° Azimuth and 30° Elevation.– The sensor shall be designed to detect two approaches with one sensor.– The sensor shall track or detect a minimum of 512 objects.• Power and Communications– Power and communications for the radar sensor shall be carried over a single three–conductor cable.– The radar sensor shall operate normally over an input voltage range of 20.4 to 27.6 VDC.– Power consumption shall be no more than 38 watts typical.– No supplemental surge suppression shall be required outside the cabinet.• Cabinet HUB– The radar detection system shall include a Hub in the traffic cabinet that manages communications between the radar sensors, the traffic management center, a maintenance technician, and the traffic cabinet itself.
