Description
The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the State Route 147 Main and Cary St Pedestrian Safety - Phase I and II (UPC 121412 and UPC 121416) project. The project aims to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to, improving pedestrian safety along State Route 147 (Main and Cary Street) by constructing pedestrian safety curb extensions, mainly on the upstream side of the cross streets. This project will reduce the crossing distance for pedestrians, manage vehicle speeds, and permanently preserve sight distances at the crossings. Phase I (UPC 121412) will take place along W Main Street, and Phase II (UPC 121416) will be along W Cary Street.
