(1) Vendor needs to provide crisis nursery program services to the government authority located in San Antonio, TX.• Provide voluntary, short–term, trauma–informed, child–safe care for infants and children whose parent or legal guardian is experiencing an acute crisis and is temporarily unable to provide safe supervision.• County seeks an operationally reliable model that protects children, provides families with a lawful and voluntary option during a crisis, and creates clear referral pathways for families, hospitals, emergency responders, law enforcement, behavioral–health providers, and community organizations.• Program is intended to supplement, not replace, existing emergency, medical, child–protection, foster–care, shelter, detention, or court ordered services.• Provide an immediately available, lawful, voluntary, and child–safe option when a parent or legal guardian faces an acute, temporary caregiving crisis.• Protect children from unsafe supervision and exposure to a volatile or destabilizing event while preserving family integrity when safe and legally permissible.• Provide trauma–informed care and developmentally appropriate support during the child's stay.• Connect caregivers to behavioral–health, substance–use, family–violence, housing, medical, benefits, parenting, and other stabilization resources appropriate to the identified need.• Create reliable, clearly limited referral pathways for community providers, hospitals, emergency responders, and law–enforcement agencies.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 1, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
