(1) Vendor needs to provide body–worn camera research partner for records service to the government authority located in Cincinnati, OH. – Provide and include improving the management, sharing, and integration of digital evidence generated from its body–worn camera, as well as optimizing how prosecutors can leverage body–worn camera footage to improve operations.– Data and results will steer the direction of the project, and a final analysis report will be conducted and shared.– The researcher will be included in all communications, and the project manager will assist him/her in their role.– Evaluate the effectiveness of different activations in capturing relevant evidence. – Review the efficiency and security of body–worn camera data storage, retrieval, and redaction processes. – Evaluate the adequacy of training for officers on body–worn camera use, maintenance, and data handling. – Analyze the impact of body–worn camera on officer behavior, performance, and accountability, including reduced complaints and improved transparency. – Examine the impact of body–worn camera footage on the success rate of prosecutions, the length of trials, and the overall efficiency of the judicial system. – Explore the potential of body–worn camera data for advanced analytics, including identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. – Develop recommendations for updating policies and legal frameworks to address the evolving role of body–worn camera.– Address ethical issues related to body–worn camera use, including privacy, transparency, and the potential for misuse. – Analyze quantitative data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships between body–worn camera use and various outcomes. – Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and lessons learned from the evaluation.
