(1) Vendor needs to provide professional structural engineering services to the government authority located in San Bernardino, CA. – Provide on–call professional structural engineering services for various emergency, maintenance, capital improvement projects. • Typical structural engineering services to accomplish all necessary work that could include:– Provide staff, including licensed structural engineers, and services on an on–call, as needed basis, some of which may be emergency related work.– Perform seismic and/or professional structural engineering inspections, evaluations, engineering calculations, and reviews for specifications and construction documents.– Perform independent third–party structural engineering peer review of designs, buildings, bridges, guardrails, facilities, and structures.– Evaluate structures and provide structural design and/or construction services for construction, repair, replacement of structures, and recommend suitable construction materials (steel, concrete, timber, etc.).– Provide the full range of professional structural engineering services including conducting preliminary studies, overseeing structural testing, providing preliminary designs, developing final plans, specifications, and estimates.– Provide final as–built drawings reflecting any changes made during construction, finalize documentation, and provide warranties and maintenance recommendations.• Typical projects may include evaluation, maintenance, reconstruction, or new construction of:– Sewer and storm drain pump stations and structures.– Retaining walls.– Minor structural concrete and bridge repairs.– Various facilities, structures, bridges, signals, streetlights and buildings.– Renovations, expansions, demolitions, restorations, and retrofits.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 26, 2026. (3) Non–mandatory pre–bid conference will be held on July 20, 2026.
