(1) Vendor needs to provide tobacco and nicotine prevention and cessation strategies for young adult students in college and university to increase awareness of and connect students to cessation resources, and create and promote prevention resources that are relevant, accessible, and responsive to the needs of young adults.• Enhancing campus–based tobacco and nicotine prevention and cessation initiatives through evidence–based and/or –informed strategies tailored to the young adult population; • Increasing awareness of and access to tobacco and nicotine cessation resources among students and faculty/staff communities in partnership with existing mass media campaign efforts; • Identifying and addressing campus–specific trends, needs, and barriers related to tobacco and nicotine use among young adults; • Developing and recommending campus policies, practices, and environmental strategies that promote tobacco–free and nicotine–free communities; and, • Sharing lessons learned, promising practices, and recommendations with agency to inform statewide tobacco and nicotine prevention and cessation efforts.
