MOVING AND RELOCATION SERVICES - 962.56 MOVING SERVICES

Created by Santiago Nocito, 1-510-238-7563, snocito@oaklandca.gov To provide the City of Oakland's Human Services Department with moving and relocation services for seniors within Alameda County. The required services shall include, but are not limited to, the proper boxing and packing of household goods; the disassembly and reassembly of bed frames and hospital beds; and the provision of boxes and all necessary packing materials. The contractor must possess all adequate tools and equipment to complete each move and relocation in a timely manner. Moving personnel must be available during regular business hours and for on-call services. Proposal must include hourly labor rate, overtime labor rate, travel time charges, fuel surcharges, pricing for boxes, packing materials and other supplies, as well as any additional or miscellaneous charges. The awarded contractor must include in all their quotes, pro-forma invoices, and final invoices a breakdown of all the charges and material charges must reflect current market rate pricing. The award resulting from this RFQ will be for a three-year (3) period with an option to extend an additional one (1), one-year period.
