(1) Vendor needs to provide advanced metering infrastructure system. – Provide an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system for agency electric utility. – Provide hardware/software equipment and professional services.– Modernize its metering infrastructure to improve operational efficiency, customer service, and data visibility.– Provide a two–way, fixed AMI communications network solution that utilizes cellular, RF mesh, or hybrid architecture, and that offers remote monitoring and control functions to devices on the proposed the agency system.• The AMI solution shall support either a single– or multi–layer infrastructure (i.e., local–area network (LAN) or wide–area network (WAN)).• The system must support Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128–bit or 256–bit encryption at the head–end and at the meter level.• AMI hardware component requirements:– Single– and polyphase electric endpoint devices– AMI network infrastructure devices• Central host server: Support either a fully hosted (cloud–based) solution or an on–premises solution, both hosting models are acceptable and will be evaluated equally.– Provide a one–page dashboard of system health with instant indication of endpoint status, collector or gateway alerts, endpoint alerts, deployment status, validation threshold alerts, e–mail alerts, and not logging alerts.– Provide ESRI–GIS mapping capabilities for the display of meter locations• Advanced system requirements:– Outage detection– Remote disconnect and reconnect and demand reset– Meter Data Management System (MDM)• Supply, delivering, installing, training and ensuring the proposed AMI system is operational prior to full deployment.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 15, 2026.
