Crane Inspections, Maintenance and Repairs

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for the provision of annual inspection and certification services for material-handling cranes/hoists at various City of Newport News Waterworks facility locations. Additionally, Contractor shall provide maintenance/repair services for the said cranes/hoists on an 'as needed' basis.
