Vendor needs to provide hazardous materials plan review services to the government authority located in Sunnyvale, CA.• Perform inspections services with focus on hazardous materials related systems during the course of construction to enforce compliance with code and standard requirements set forth on the approved plans for which the city issued a permit.• Examples of elements that shall be included for inspections include piping/tank pressure or leak testing, monitoring systems, life safety systems, material compatibility/clearances. • Reads, correctly interprets, applies and uses building codes, fire codes, municipal codes, ordinances, and other related laws, regulations and policies. • Communicate with property owners, contractors and others regarding local and state codes; explains requirements and ensures compliance with plans and codes and gives final sign–off approval. • Prepare clear, concise and comprehensive reports, correspondence and other required documents; maintains forms, records and field reports relative to inspection activities and to document findings; performs office duties.
