(1) Vendor needs to provide executive search services for the purpose of recruiting, selecting and placing an executive director to the government authority located in Charlottesville, VA.1. Project initiation and organizational assessment:– Review the authority's organizational structure and strategic priorities and current climate to assist with change management.– Identify leadership competencies and desired qualifications.– Develop a recruitment strategy, change management strategy and project schedule.2. Candidate recruitment and outreach:– Conduct a national search.– Advertise the position through professional associations and recruitment networks.– Utilize direct recruiting and targeted outreach.– Solicit candidates from public housing authorities, redevelopment agencies, local governments, and affordable housing organizations.3. Candidate screening and evaluation:– Receive and review applications.– Verify minimum qualifications.– Conduct preliminary interviews.4. Finalist presentation:– Recommend semi–finalists and finalists.– Present written candidate summaries.– Facilitate board review sessions.5. Background and reference verification:– Conduct professional reference checks.– Verify employment history.– Verify educational credentials.– Coordinate criminal background investigations, if requested.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 24, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
