Description
The City of Lakeland (Owner) is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced State of Florida-registered Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to retrofit an existing dry retention with an underdrain system installed in association with a prior City project (relief of downtown flooding). The retrofit will consist of removing the underdrains and installing BAM under the pond bottom in a downflow configuration. Other activities will include drainage structure modifications, removal of concrete ditch pavement, sodding, underdrain and impermeable liner installation, specialty valve installation, and associated ancillary activities. All work shall conform to the applicable technical specifications of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction, January 2025, and in accordance with the Contract Plans, Technical Specifications, Special Provisions, and addenda hereto, except as modified and supplemented herein.
