Description
San Mateo County seeks qualified proposals from firms to operate the Pescadero Transfer Station and Materials Recovery Facility (Pescadero TS/MRF) for a term of five (5) years. In addition, the County shall have the option to extend the agreement term for one (1) or more periods, each up to one (1) year, for a maximum of three (3) additional years, under the same terms and conditions. To exercise this option, the County shall provide written notice to the Contractor at least thirty days before the end of the agreement’s term. Sustainability Department is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2024-RFP-00262 for Operating and Managing the Pescadero Transfer Station and Materials Recovery Facility (TS/MRF) The required tasks include: 1. Collection and Handling of Materials 2. Transport of Materials 3. Maintenance 4. Compliance 5. Customer Service 6. Emergency Response
