Vendor needs to provide runway pavement geotechnical investigation and material failure analysis service to the government authority located in Mountain Home, ID. – The purpose of this project is to conduct a comprehensive geotechnical and material evaluation of the runway pavement experiencing progressive distress, including surface cracking, spalling, and pitting.– The investigation will focus on identifying the root causes of the distress, specifically assessing whether the pavement suffers from material fatigue, aggregate–cement binder bonding failure, or chemical degradation.– The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and engineering services required to extract approximately 30 concrete core samples from designated locations on the runway, perform specialized laboratory testing, and deliver an engineering evaluation report with rehabilitation recommendations.
