(1) Vendor needs to provide security services for residential facilities to the government authority located in Albany, NY. • Provide professional security officer services at all buildings in their portfolio.• The agency seeks a vendor that will deliver a high standard of security service, with particular emphasis on:– Rigorous pre–employment screening, ongoing training, and retention of qualified security personnel– Strict access control to ensure that only authorized tenants and their approved guests gain entry to agency properties– Active, documented building and site rounds, that deter criminal activity and unauthorized presence– The Albany Housing Authority reserves the right to assign one or more security firms to specific developments or properties based on operational needs, performance, staffing availability, and the best interests of the Authority. Selection for one property does not guarantee assignment to all agency developments.– Comprehensive, timely incident reporting and transparent accountability meetings with agency Director of Security Operation(2) The contract period will be for five years.
