Vendor needs to provide audiology services to the government authority located in Wilmington, NC.– Follow all rules, policies and procedures of county schools, along with state and federal regulation pertaining to schools and technology.– Ensure compliance with federal and state law and regulations regarding the compliance of process.– Schedule and complete comprehensive audiological evaluations using diagnostic audiometric tests to identify and monitor hearing disorders as well as tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing.– Document results, write reports, and maintain records in compliance with the district and state regulations.– Fit and dispense hearing aids. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on student devices (cleaning hearing aids/processors; making ear impressions and ordering new earmolds).– Provide counselling for the patient and close family members on how to best listen and communicate.– Measure classroom acoustics and noise levels to recommend improvements for a better listening environment.– Provide audiological expertise to teams through in–service training to teachers and staff on hearing loss implications and equipment troubleshooting.– Provide recommendations for intervention and classroom accommodation.– Assist with the communication plan worksheet.– Maintain clinical and portable equipment for the district.– Schedule annual mandatory equipment calibrations.– Order supplies for audiology and departments.– Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the director.
