Event Rentals/Services

The primary objective of this project is to identify and contract with reliable vendors who can supply a wide range of services for events hosted by Mt. SAC. The selected vendors will be short-listed in the Request for Qualifications and will be used for future events as necessary. Vendors can submit proposals for the categories they're interested in such as Balloon Services, Floral Services, Rentals (linens, tables, tents, & chairs), Jump Rentals, and Linen Cleaning Services. Each vendor will be required to complete both the Vendor Questionnaires in the Event Rentals/Services as well as the categories they're interested in. Purpose of Request for Request for Qualifications (RFQual) The Mt. San Antonio Community College District (District) is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified vendors interested in categories specified on an "as needed" basis estimated for the period of five (5) years. The District desires to create a list of qualified vendors, which may be utilized to engage one or more vendors to provide these services. The RFQual describes the scope of services, evaluation process, and minimum information that must be included in the qualification package. This RFQual will request each vendor to concisely state its qualifications for participating in a constructive and effective partnership. The District anticipates that this RFQUAL will result in the creation of an on-call list of qualified vendors in each category listed in this RFQUAL and multiple awards of contracts within each category. Once selected, the selected vendors will be required to execute a Basic Services Agreement for each individual category. Once on the On-Call list, the District may solicit proposals from available contracted vendors for specific projects and services throughout the term of the contract(s). Contracted firms shall be required to submit their project-specific proposals within the submittal deadline period required in each. Upon award of specific project work, the selected vendor will be issued a Basic Services Agreement in order to begin the work. By submitting a proposal to this RFQUAL, the Vendor agrees to abide by any proposal or work deadlines required by the District, and agrees that failure to meet such deadlines, or failure to respond to project solicitations may result in termination of contract.
