Description
Miami County is seeking written proposals from firms qualified to provide construction engineering (inspection) services for the HRRR Old Kansas City Road Rehabilitation Project located on Old Kansas City Road south of Paola to US169 Hwy. The project is funded through KDOT High Risk Rural Road funds (HRRR) and Miami County ¼-cent sales tax. This project consists of road widening to increase lane size from 10’ to 12’ by mill and overlay with additional intent to flatten and widen foreslopes including culverts. Install/upgrade curve signage to meet MUTCD standards (if needed). Install centerline rumble strips and safety edge both sides of road.
