(1) Vendor needs to provide computer aided dispatch replacement service. – Provide a replacement Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to support the processing of 9–1–1 Calls for Service (CFS) by the agency’s Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP or ‘Cary 9–1–1’) and its regional first responder partners. – Replace current Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system with a dynamic, data–driven, and scalable solution that enhances public safety and operational efficiency for the agency. – Provide appropriate technology and services for the project management, design/configuration, on site implementation and training of a replacement CAD System.• The CAD System is expected to allow the agency to achieve the following strategic objectives:– Eliminate redundant and time–consuming call–taking processes, optimizing operational effectiveness.– Improve the delivery of emergency services to the public.– Support improved decision–making through increased data availability, quality, and accuracy shared electronically between Cary 9–1–1 and its partners.– Leverage modern technology to support this life–critical emergency communications and first–response operational landscape with a robust, resilient platform that can evolve and scale to meet future growth.• Leverage modern technology to support this life–critical emergency communications and first response operational landscape with a robust, resilient platform that can evolve and scale to meet future growth.– Resilience and cloud optimization: Utilizing cloud–based functionality and infrastructural redundancy to eliminate single points of failure and minimize business disruptions.– Mobility: Supporting secure remote access so authorized personnel can operate with no degradation to user capability from off–site locations or mobile command posts.– Regionalized interoperability: Providing a flexible infrastructure that adapts to the unique needs of multiple municipalities and fosters seamless cross–agency data sharing.• Data must be fully accessible and extractable by the agency at any time, without vendor intervention, in non–proprietary, machine–readable formats (e.g., JSON, CSV, XML, Parquet).• The CAD system must support loosely coupled integrations using industry–standard middleware and integration patterns. • Provide a diagram with a supporting overview of the overall proposed CAD system architecture, including components and dependencies.• Cloud hosting and data ownership.• Deployment.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 19, 2026.
