EXTRA-74448 - USA (Iowa) - Climate Action Planning Assistance Services - Deadline September 11,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide climate action planning assistance services to the government authority located in Iowa.1. Project management:– Develop a shared understanding of project objectives and deliverables.– Review data needs and collaboratively identify available data sources and potential gaps.– Develop a shared understanding of how to engage with stakeholders and communities.2. Regional greenhouse gas inventory, projections, and targets update:– The inventory must include primary greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6, and NF3) and the following sectors: agriculture, commercial and residential buildings, transportation, industry and electricity generation, waste and materials management, wastewater, and natural and working lands (including sinks).3. Implementation status update:– In the status report, agency must provide an update on the implementation status of GHG measures developed for the pathway plan.4. Develop next steps/future budget and staffing needs:– Agency expects the consultant to guide the agency and technical through a strategic planning process to identify next steps with a realistic and regional focus.5. Develop report content and produce final status report document:– The consultant will develop a report design (layout, design concept, etc.) and content in coordination with agency to ensure the status report meets guidelines.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 24, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
