REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – INDVIDUAL SELECTION) Country: KENYA Name of Project: NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT NAVCDP Project ID 176758 Credit No.: 70640 Assignment Title: Technical support & Partnership Specialist 2 for Coffee Value Chain Revitalization and Factory Modernization Reference No .: KE-MOALF-562869-CS- INDV 1.0 The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Agricultural Value Chain Development Projec t (NAVCDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2.0 The Consulting Services (“ the services” ) include Consulting Services for Technical support & partnership specialists 1 for Coffee Value Chain revitalization and factory modernization. The estimated period of the assignment is twelve (12) calendar months from contract commencement date. 3.0 The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be found at the following website: www.kilimo.go.ke 4.0 The State Department for Agriculture (“the Client”) now invites eligible individuals (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The expert should have the following minimum qualifications and experience i. A minimum Bachelor of science degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Value Chain Development, or related fields. Ii. A Minimum of 5 years specific experience in agriculture/agribusiness, with proven expertise in Coffee value Chain, digital transformation. Iii.
