West Volusia Annex Building Envelope and Roof Replacement

All work on this project is to be completed during normal business hours, with exceptions as noted in the general requirements section. Refer to General Requirements, Work Schedule. The work includes but not limited to the following: 1. Replace all windows in the facility with new impact rated window systems. 2. Perform grout injection to waterproof the below grade exterior walls at the locations noted. 3. Repair of above grade exterior walls: brick replacement, mortar repointing, concrete etc. 4. Install water repellent at the above grade exterior walls at the locations noted. 5. Remove and replace existing portland cement plaster soffit. 6. Install roofing system as outlined in the contract documents. Refer to section KEE Roofing, see Roof System Schedule. 7. Prepare the existing roof system as outlined, including associated removal of the existing roof drains and sheet metal. Refer to section Preparation for Reroofing. 8. Install all components, including sheet metal items, storm drainage and accessories of the new roof system needed for a completed watertight installation as outlined in the contract documents. Conditions not shown shall be made watertight using Manufacture’s details. 9. Cleaning of all work areas daily. Restore all work staging and lay-out areas to pre-construction conditions. 10. Provide Manufacturer’s warranties, including contractor’s maintenance agreements, product warranties, and Manufacturer’s maintenance and repair instructions. 11. Provide all bonds, insurance certificates and other documents as required by the Owner, including annotating bid items. Refer to County Invitation to Bid documents.
