(1) Vendor needs to provide legislative advocacy and lobbying consulting services to the government authority located in Arlington, VA.– Provide legislative advocacy, strategic advisory, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement services to support Arlington County’s legislative and budgetary priorities.– Services include assisting with the development and advancement of the agency annual legislative package, monitoring legislative and budgetary activity, advising on advocacy strategies, and representing the agency interest before appropriate state–level legislative and executive branch stakeholders.– Consultant must attend relevant legislative meetings, committee meetings, budget hearings, advocacy meetings, and other session–related activities in person when needed to advance the County’s legislative and budgetary priorities.– Strategic planning and legislative package development:– Assisting with the development and execution of a legislative and budgetary strategic plan.– Legislative and budget monitoring:– Monitoring legislation and budget proposals introduced or considered by the agency general assembly.– Legislative and executive branch advocacy:– Advocating for the County’s approved legislative and budgetary priorities.– Preparing, coordinating, or delivering testimony, talking points, briefing materials, position summaries, and other advocacy or informational materials.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 14, 2026.(3) Pre proposal conference will be held on June 30, 2026.
