(1) Vendor needs to provide third party administrator service for liability and medical malpractice claims.• The human resources division, and risk management unit are responsible for the general liability and medical malpractice self–insurance programs.• Workers’ compensation, property, aircraft, boiler and machinery, cyber liability, crime bond, and watercraft programs.• TPA shall investigate, evaluate, process, manage and resolve bodily injury, personal injury, property and any potential claims for money damages asserted against the county, its officers, agents, or employees for which the county, its officers, departments, commissions, related agencies, or any of its employees are alleged to be legally responsible.• TPA shall coordinate, consult, and fully cooperate with county personnel and outside legal counsel in the administration of those claims.• TPA shall conduct timely and complete investigations and assemble documentation of all claims including, if applicable, loss scene photographs, statements, interviews, medical documentation, etc.• TPA shall record all payments and settlements in the electronic database.• TPA shall assist the County in the analysis of claims to prevent similar occurrences and shall provide periodic reports identifying trends and major developments.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 13, 2026.(3) A pre–bid meeting will be held on November 10, 2026.
