(1) Vendor needs to provide AI development and testing service. • AI–enabled scientific discovery frameworks for using multimodal clinical data to generate hypotheses around patient health and care, not just prediction models.• World–class dataset generation frameworks to encourage the creation of curated, interoperable, AI–ready datasets that could serve as a shared resource across clinical AI projects. • Training frameworks for the development of training modules or curricula for clinicians to support AI literacy and promote AI adoption into clinical practice.• Data quality frameworks to guide the collection and preparation of AI–ready data while working to minimize the introduction of errors when training the model;• Frameworks that address data leakage, where data used to train an algorithm has the information which the model is trying to predict, resulting in unreliable and bad prediction;• Data lifecycle management frameworks to help to ensure the availability and disposition of production data as well as reduce drift and minimize the possible reintroduction of errors;• Frameworks to quantify uncertainty, deriving typically from either the data used to train the model or the model itself; • Harmonization frameworks that define guidelines for ensuring that multimodal data and/or models can be utilized together.• Transparency/explainability frameworks to increase user trust in multimodal AI tools by enabling stakeholders to understand AI decision–making processes.
