(1) Vendor needs to provide Overdose Emergency Calls Certified Peer Support Specialist Response Service to the government authority located in Denton, MD. • Provide a Certified Peer Support Specialist to respond to overdose emergency calls, in conjunction with County.• Provides immediate response by a peer to attempt to assist individuals and families for resources needed, treatment options, and peer support to all of those household members.• Respond in–person to all County overdose–related emergency calls within 1 hour of notification by Emergency Services. • The 1 hour timeframe begins once the Bidder receives notification from agency. Response coverage is expected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.• Follow up with the individual one month after the response for data tracking purposes.• Provide appropriate technology for the Peer Support Specialist. This could include a cell phone, laptop, tablet, printer.
