(1) Vendor needs to provide bus passenger counting systems.– Camera–based, sensor–based, or other available hardware and software systems that can provide accurate real–time counts of bus passenger boarding, alighting, loads, and potentially origin–destination trip patterns.– Data should be appropriately linked to the route, stop, and trip being served, and brokendown by which door of the vehicle was used.– Vendors are asked to describe how their systems have integrated with other bus data systems to provide this route, stop, and trip information.– Video–based systems, vendors should describe whether passenger counting and analytics are performed on the vehicle, at the edge, in a server–based environment, or within a cloud environment, including associated bandwidth requirements.(2) All question must be submitted no later than November 6, 2026.
