(1) Vendor needs to provide event staffing and security services to the government authority located in DeLand, FL. • Event staffing: Ticket–taking, ushering, guest assistance, and related patron–services functions.– Deliver courteous, proactive patron services.– Greeting patrons, providing directions, information and escort services to seats and venue amenities.– Collecting, scanning and verifying tickets, passes, credentials and patron identity at entry gates and interior checkpoints.– Serving as pedestrian crossing guards for traffic–control purposes.– Conduct line management control, foot patrols of event spaces to include back of house, and perimeter areas.• Entry security (checkpoint security): operation of safety–check lanes, magnetometer screening, bag inspection, and patron access control.– Entry security personnel are responsible for the safe, efficient and patron–friendly screening of all individuals seeking access to agency facilities.– Staff may operate all designated public entry checkpoints, including walk–through magnetometer lanes, hand–wand screening stations and bag–inspection tables.– Conduct visual and physical inspection of patrons and their belongings for prohibited items, including: weapons of any type, containers (cans, bottles), alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, fireworks, laser pointers and any items capable of being used as a projectile. – Conduct post–screening verification checks at interior access points as directed.• In–event security: crowd management, incident response, and physical intervention support during concerts and live entertainment events.– In–event security personnel are deployed within the arena or exhibit hall (depending on the event), concourse, backstage areas, and other interior locations to maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for all patrons and performers.– Provide general crowd management and situational awareness throughout assigned interior posts during events.– Protect designated backstage access points, stage barricades, catering areas, dressing rooms, hospitality areas, press areas, and show equipment. – Provide personal protection support to performers, production staff, and VIP guests as directed by the agency.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 25, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for three years. (4) Non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on November 13, 2026.
