State of Good Repair

The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the resurfacing of portions of Richmond Highway (formerly known as Jefferson Davis Highway) to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to milling, sweeping, patching, restoration (when needed), sidewalk repair, handicap ramp up grades to meet ADA requirements, pavement marking, etc. The project includes milling and overlay of the existing road surface while ensuring compliance with all applicable local and federal regulations. The work must enhance the roadway's performance and extend its lifespan, ensure safety for all users, and meet aesthetic expectations. The City of Richmond seeks to hire a qualified contractor to accomplish the specified tasks in accordance with the details outlined herein.
