EXTRA-78594 - USA (Newport, Rhode Island) - Roadway Safety and Supplemental Action Plan Service - Deadline December 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide roadway safety and supplemental action plan service to the government authority located in Newport, RI. – Provide consultant shall coordinate closely with city staff throughout the project to support timely completion of the work and integration of the individual project tasks.– Review relevant existing city plans, studies, safety analyses, available datasets, and other regional or statewide resources as relevant to the analysis.– Consultant shall lead the project's community and stakeholder engagement, with support from city staff.– Develop and implement an engagement approach that provides meaningful opportunities for stakeholders to identify roadway safety concerns, experiences, and priorities.– Consultant shall propose an appropriate combination of engagement methods, including in–person activities, surveys, stakeholder interviews, online mapping, and other methods or tools that support effective and accessible participation.– Consultant shall conduct road safety assessments for third street, and maple avenue using the existing information, updated safety analysis and data collection, field observations, and relevant community and stakeholder input developed through the preceding tasks.– Integrate the findings and recommendations from the preceding tasks into a supplemental action plan designed to complement and be used in conjunction with the city's existing safety action plan.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 26, 2026.
