EXTRA-72544 - USA (Trenton, New Jersey) - Systematic Valve Exercising and Condition Assessment Program Service - Deadline July 23,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide systematic valve exercising and condition assessment program service to the government authority located in Trenton, NJ.• Valve Location and Verification– The Contractor shall locate each valve identified in agency asset inventory and verify its position against existing GIS records and district maps. This includes:• Using high–quality locating equipment to identify buried, obscured, or mis–mapped valves.• Recording a GNSS point (sub–decimeter accuracy) for each valve using the NJ State Plane NAD83/NAVD88 datum.• Documenting valves that cannot be located after due diligence and generating a work order for agency.• Capturing a GPS point for the approximate search center when a valve is not found.– Valve Box and Vault Inspection– The Contractor shall inspect and restore accessibility to all valve boxes and vaults, including:• Removing valve box lids, inspecting barrels, and clearing debris, sediment, water, or obstructions.• Using vacuum equipment and pumps to remove accumulated materials.• Identifying and documenting damaged, misaligned, or buried valve boxes.• Raising landscape–covered valve boxes to grade and restore disturbed areas with topsoil and seed.• Recording paved–over or concrete–covered valve boxes for agency follow–up.– Valve Exercising Operations– The Contractor shall perform controlled exercising of each valve using torque–regulated equipment capable of recording operational data. Requirements include:• Performing a minimum of two full open–and–close cycles on each valve.• Operating valves at the lowest effective torque, not exceeding 450 ft–lbs. without agency authorization.• Recording torque curves, number of turns, direction of rotation, and any resistance or abnormalities.• Identifying valves that are inoperable, broken, leaking, or otherwise deficient.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 15, 2026
