CHARLOTTESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL 2025 SUMMER PAINTING
City of Charlottesville / Public Works - Facilities Maintenance
Description
Charlottesville City Schools is seeking highly qualified bidders to provide interior painting services at Charlottesville High School (1400 Melbourne Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901) and the interior of the "Parkside" educational space. This project will also entail drywall, masonry and plaster wall repair. Areas to be painted include: metal stairways, door frames, window frames and railings, classroom and hallway walls, restrooms, and attached shelving. All work must be completed during the summer vacation (May 31 - August 8, 2025). Bidders should note there will be other construction projects being done concurrently in the same/adjoining areas to this painting project. In addition, we anticipate the school to be operating on emergency generator power from July 18 - 29, while electrical upgrades are made. During those dates bidders should have plans in place to provide lighting and power, as needed, for their work.
